operator, QVM Logistic Solutions, has been involved in design work for new POD
arrangements as shown in the photo above.
The designs
incorporate many of the basic POD features as seen in the test POD in C Shed
but add more flexibility with size, shape, door and display configurations, and
relate to different types of trader operations including food.
It is great
to see that more work has been done in this important area of market evolution
but just when PODS might be introduced more widely is yet to be revealed.
