The ACCC has launched legal action that will remind wholesalers it is illegal to force price restrictions on retailers.
Cosmetic Wholesaler, Eternal Beauty Products Pty. Ltd. has been accused of forcing online outlets to adhere to minimum retail prices for their products. The issue here is not the price the wholesaler sells to the retailer at, but trying to force the retailer into setting its price with consumers.
One to remember next time one of your suppliers complains about your retail price at the market.
